FAQ
Pool & Spa Heating
Spa heat is complimentary
A nightly fee for pool heat is $75.00. The pool is heated to 84 degrees between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. A minimum 24-hour notice is required.

How often is the pool cleaned?
The pool is cleaned 2x per week on Mondays and Thursdays.

Early Check-In & Late Check-Out
We’re happy to accommodate early check-in and/or late check-out requests, subject to availability. Please get in touch with us in advance so we can plan accordingly. Additional fees may apply depending on the time requested.

Landscaping
Landscaping is done on Fridays.

BBQ & Outdoor Dining
Yes, a gas BBQ is available for guest use and is located just outside the kitchen. There is also an outdoor dining area—perfect for enjoying al fresco meals with a view.

Parking:
Parking is permitted in the driveway and on the street. Garage parking is not available.

Noise Ordinance
The City of Indio enforces a strict noise ordinance:
* Sunday–Thursday: Quiet hours from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
* Friday–Saturday: Quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Please be respectful of neighbors, some of whom are full-time residents. Excessive daytime noise should also be avoided. Violation may result in a warning and forfeiture of your security deposit.

Occupancy & Extra Guest Fee
The Desert Sanctuary accommodates up to 12 guests comfortably. The base rate covers up to 8 guests.
Each additional guest over 8 will incur a $25 per night, per person charge.

Your peace of mind and the safety of your children are our top priorities. To enhance child safety, pool door alarms are installed to provide an extra layer of security and alert you to any unauthorized access to the pool area. Not engaging the pool alarms is a risk to the guest on record. Desert Sanctuary does not assume any liability due to the non-use of the pool alarms.
